You hear these people, and it sounds like they've all got a Big Chip on their shoulder. What, exactly, do they think they're going to accomplish with all of this?

They know they haven't a leg to stand on-except their own personal views. More than likely they have a personal life with someone from Mexico. And they think that excuses everything. Doesn't say much for their intellect.

Chill man, everyone has their own beliefs. You can't say that every "pro-illegal" people are beligerent. Some people just don't believe some 'crimes' carry too heavy of consequences.
I'm sure alot of people agree that it's not okay to kill people, and that it should be against the law. But you see people killing people everyday and getting away with it. (We all know the caring and loving idiot son of an a**hole.)
But, if you get busted with a sac than you're gonna get expelled and lose any chance of climbing the same ladder of success that is offered to everyone else.
The way I see it is, some laws are just, because they actually benefit society. Some laws are unjust because they benefit only a few of the aristocrats. And they refuse to fix the problem because they are the ones with the power. That's why I choose to defy the laws that I feel are unfair and unjust to a majority of people.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'm pro illegal, but I would consider my self something more on the lines of pro-freedom and equality?

Most pro-illegal posters here are speaking from their heart because from what I have gathered here, the posters are either American citizens who have fallen in love with illegals, or else they are anchor babies of illegals, who have been here for all their lives, but are worried about their illegal parents and other family members. The newly illegals aren't on here posting because they are busy working their 2 jobs at $5/hr. or less and barely have time to sleep, let alone come on this forum to try to defend themselves. Because they are only thinking about how they, themselves and those illegal immigrants they love, will be affected by deportation, they are very belligerent. They are like an animal that has been cornered and so are lashing out. They know they do not have a legal foot to stand on (no pun intended) and so they just spout out their venom, knowing they have nothing to justify their standpoint, other than their own emotional feelings due to their own situation. They are not thinking about how illegal immigrants are generally bad for their country. What else can you expect? We just have to stand firm and keep telling them, "No - illegals have to GO and come back legally, only!"

If they scream loud enough, take to the streets often enought, jump up and down with their Mexican Flags and yell Spanish at us may be we will be afraid of them enough to let them stay...
In other words we are seeing a huge, very well organized, temper tantrum intended to intimidate us into submission.
Not only is it not working, it has created a backlash than no one ever thought would happen.
We must not let up on our efforts to secure the border, punish employers of the illegals, stop social services to illegals, and remove illegals.

You are right and why do they act like thugs when they don't like what you have to say? How many times have you seen one of us (anti criminal) pretending to be one of them? We don't use cowardly tactics like that. They hurt their own cause really. It's hard to feel sorry for a bunch of criminals who don't care about this country, the people here and disrespect our flag and culture. Then, they will ask why we don't want them here. For some reason, they just can't figure it out.
Criminals tend to be belligerent.

Because most of them are uninformed of the real dangers and costs of illegal immigration. They think with their hearts and not their heads. They speak out of ignorance and since it's something they probably don't know the first thing about, their only retaliation is belligerence.

Well the same could be said about anti illegals....
I see some of you saying outrageous statements like 'why do mexicans breed like rats?' or 'my cat keeps burying mexican children because he confuses them with his poo' and trashy insulting statements like that, which dehumanizes this group of people.
What exactly do you think your going to accomplish by all this??!

They go about protesting in the wrong way. Not like they have tons of money and can finance some big shot lawyers.
What always upsets me, why do they wave around flags of Mexico if they want others to migrate to the US?

They are fighting the establishment. It's an emotional issue that seriously effects lives if personally involved. Man, how can you make your voice heard or make any difference if you are quick, measured and write an occasional e-mail to your Congress person?
