Waiting when to have sex sound restricted. If someone decided they want to have sex they should ask themsleves what is their purpose of having sex and why? After the reasons are stated, list all of the consequences associate to the reasons. If the person think they can live with ALL of the consequences then proceed, but if the person know that he or she cannot except one or more of the listed consequences, then I recommend that person should not have sex until he or she is really ready. It is easily said then done I know, but these steps need to be incooperated becuase often people put themsleves in dramatic situations or dead end situations becuase all they see is the immediate benefits and gratifications. People either forget to think about consequences or they underestimate the consequences and put themeselves later in misery. If someone you love want to wait to have sex, then they do deserve the respect to their wishes after they explain their reasons for it. I think is only fair for the other partner to know the reason why. There is no reasons to break up if one partner want to wait to have sex. If your purpose is to love and to get to know your partner, then sex is just another reason additional to other reasons to why you want to be with the person you really care about. I believe sex is a sacred tool that are use between men and women to enhance the feelings they already have for one another. Sex is not an itch, it is the part of a trustwrothy and health realtionship. I did not have sex until I was 24 years old, but I never regret the wait nor when I decided to have sex becuase I know my purpose and I could live with all of the consequences that comes along with it.

Hope that helps.....

Well that can be looked at two different ways. First of all, if your true love wants to wait to have sex with you then that's fine, but does that mean you can't have sex with other people? Or do they want you to give up sex with others and be exclusive with them? What exactly are they waiting for, and if you and that person are going to get married anyway I guess I don't see why you should wait.

I would wait. I did wait actually. My fiance and I didn't have sex until we got engaged (April 22, 2006). That way we showed each other if we were true enough to our relationship and the love we share.

Sex you can have any where....with anybody.
But when you're with that one true love, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with...making love is 100x better.

If your "true love" won't wait for sex or love making and they don't respect your wishes then they are not your true love. I would wait if my love didn't want to and if he said to me that he evner wanted to ever have sex then i would be ok with that knowing that I truly love him.

Sex is a human natural desire. but respecting other is the matter of love . If the opposite don't want to have sex before marriage, he or she ( most probably) has his or her own reason. therefore letting the opposite partner to know or understand the reason will be good.
If you make love to some body unwillingly it is not making love .. but is called making hurt or Rape. If you really love your partner, will you let them to be hurt?
