how to remove carpet glue; after pulling old carpet from linoleum squares ?

carpet glue left a yellow color stains on what seems to be a useable linoleum type floor in 1 sq foot tiles

After we ripped up my mom's carpet we were left with the glue--what a mess. We got off the worst of it, but the floor was stained. There is no way to do that as far as I know. We put down Pergo.

You will probably have to pull the linoleum tiles.
