Yes it does.......Secular Cantata BWV 208......Sheep may safely graze........very calming and re-assuring piece of music to me...... :-)

It makes me feel more intelligent because I know the work he put into making some of his chords. It doesn't make me feel more spiritual because I did not know the guy personally.

My mother played classical music and as a result I do not care for it. It gives me a headache.

His quartets are divine. Though it doesn't make me believe in an imaginary character that occasionally kills off his own creations.
