Do you girls and guys really hate the people in uniform ? I will be in uniform in Mid August and i heard people said they really hate those people who are in uniform. I will be a special police officer and not lucky enough, have to giving out parking tickets. So, do you girls and guys really hate people in uniform ? I consider myself nice, but you know, sometime you just have to do your job, right?

I dont get the whole uniform thing. I know a lot of people in the service who are extremely stupid and are dickheads yet girls/guys go after them still. I dont hate people in uniform, but I do think sometimes power can get to their head. But really, they are fairly low on the power ladder. A successful buisness man is more powerful on the economy and more powerful socially than almost all officers or someone in the service. But anyway, a uniform doesnt make the person, its their personality and i know tons of people in uniform who just dont have a personality, yet girls/guys go for them just because of the uniform. Its kind of sad. But since you're asking this question I would think that you are genuinely concerned about this and have a good personality that will make you an enjoyable and fair officer.

Uniform, out of uniform, everyone has a job to do. We all just need to respect that, and as long as you do your best at your job, that should be the only thing that you should worry about.

I definitely agree with you that no matter how nice you are on the job, you must remain as neutral as possible. I think that some people might find that annoying that they are not able to take advantage of somebodie's sympathy if they have to be sort of the "same" person as every other officer. I sometimes find that annoying, but as long as officers don't pick on you (i.e. harold & kumar go to white castle officer) I just try to remember that they get paid to do what they do. You don't make the laws, just enforce them. I actually find it admirable (not in a romantic way)

Guys in uniform are HOT! Only really bad people hate people in uniform. You don't need them, anyway.

It depends on the person. I only look at their personalities, and if they like me. A man in uniform wouldn't be bad.

I ⥠men in uniform I never heard anyone say otherwise. It's something about a man in authority that is totally hot. The 1st time I saw my BF I was like wow. He was in the service and the 1st picture I saw was him in his gear. It says alot about them. Strong. Fearful... And that just translates to sexy to me. You'll be fine

acutally i normally hear the opposite. most women like a guy in a uniform b/c they are seen as strong and independent and to most women that is a major turn on
