Nope, not only didn't it kill any fleas, it made the cats fur fall out where I put it on. I tried to save a little money and ended up with more vet bills than if I had just used Advantage or Frontline.

You should only buy flea control from your vet. Over the counter flea control will be ineffective. It can also be dangerous. I am a pre vet student who works at a vet school, and have seen adverse reactions to over the counter medicine, and people end up spending hundreds on treating their cat for this.

So get Advantage, Frontline, or Revolution from your vet. They are a bit more expensive, but they are effective, safe, and I believe all three (i know Frontline does) have a 100 percent garuntee where if they don't work, the company reimburses you-and they will.

But yes, just buy from the vet, spend 10 more dollars, and don't throw your money away on junk---and put chemicals on your cat that may not be safe.

i'd call the vet, exceptionally if it truly is strange habit on your cats. Twitching doesn't sound good. Did you take advantage of a flea shampoo then placed the flea med. on top after? i understand that witch my canines I actual ought to attend some days to each and each and every week in-between because they could get too many of the drugs and it has the skill to be deadly. so a procedures as rinsing it off, it spreads by potential of the oil on the cats body (or a minimum of maximum flea meds do) so it may have already unfold round, yet in the journey that they'd purely been bathed it may no longer have had the prospect to. i'd attempt washing the interest with universal cat shampoo (or very few basic detergent shouldn't damage them this once) If the cat is taking area in i do not imagine it is going to be too ill, if even ill in any respect, yet i'd nevertheless call the vet purely to be secure. i understand that if I call my vet after hours it transfers me to an emergency vet hospital who've responded my questions before, telling me if I ought to bypass in then, contained in the morning, or if it became no longer some thing. good success!

I've tried it, it didn't work at all. Frontline Plus is the best thing that I have found. This year it's not been working real well for ticks though. I tried Revolution to help with ear mites. That totally didn't work at all either, don't waste your money.

Zodiac is a weird product. I have used it before and it did not work for me, however my co-worker ( at a pet store mind you) swears by the stuff. It works different for different dogs and cats just like sunscreen works different for different people. If it did not work for you then try switching brands.
