Yes , you must wait for him to come back , if you have not crossed your limit , while dating or going out with him .
If by mistake you had already crossed the limit , then chances are 50-50 . Its depend on how much you know about his liking / disliking / positive and negative side of his moods , his strength and his weakness . I am sure if sit and think with analytic mind , you can easily make out wheather he is only talking or he is sincere in his talk .

This depends on your devotion to this man.
I would at least wait a while, you don't have anything to lose if you really love him. If, in a few months, he hasn't returned for you or made good on his promises and you find your devotion waning, or someone else comes along, you might want to explore other options.

Its difficult to say. He could be sincere but then again not.
People who know him should know better as to whether he is being sincere or not.
If you are not sure, just wait a while and see. Give it an ultimatum.

Don't know on this one.. If you think he is sincere, wait. If you think he is full of it, move on. You have to use your judgement on this one. He may be playing you, he may truly mean what he says. Only you know that one.
