wrong on Idaho Julie ( what part are ya from) We can buy liquor at are convience store. Lower part of Idaho the bar's close @ 1 am the rest is 2 am.

In Idaho you can buy liquor on Sunday's in bars, but never at a convience store, only liquor stores.

Because you live in a "sunday dry" state. It is a state law.
Not too long ago in some counties in Texas people were not allowed to buy shoes on a sunday either(go figure!)

SC is the same way. You can't buy liqour, beer or wine on sunday. Only private clubs may sell alchohol on sunday. If its nota private club they stop selling at midnight on saturday.

Because you have what they call a "Blue Law Sunday" it was passed for religious purposes. They don't want people drunk of the sabbath

its state law and ur state happens to be one w/ very conservative alcohol laws. i live in NY which has very liberal alcohol laws
