A 5 week old baby what? Baby birds and great dane pups will drink a vastly different amounts.

5 week old should drink as much as she or he wants, it's a feed on demand in this period, waking up your baby to feed is wrong and also not giving your baby milk when she/he is crying is wrong, relax and let your baby tell you.

Why are you posting this in the pet section? If it's a 5 week old puppy you mean, it shouldn't even be away from it's mom yet. They need the mother's milk for immunity.

Waht is it you are trying to feed:???? Baby birds do NOT drink MILK. Dogs & cats have milk replacement foods that can be purchased in jugs at feed stores and usually the directions are on the food package. Why do you need to feed this thing??? Where's its mama???
