My ex ran away with my daughter. I havn't seen my daughter in a year and worried about her well-being. I am trying to locate them in TEXAS which i know they are at. But what city? They are with a man named Hank or Henry Nance and my ex's name is Tami or Tammy Boone aka Nance aka Pauley. My daughter's name is Makayla Wheaton but her mother might be trying to make her use a different last name. Please help if you know where they are. I miss my daughter very much. Thanks to all who help!

What is the age of your daughter? If she is legally mature then you can not compel her to live with you. Legally you can not do much.
You had made mistake, I suppose, in following statement with reference to 'mother'. "...her mother might be trying to make her use a different last name."
You should approach Police if she is minor or if you think she has been detained illegally by your ex.
Otherwise you can publish her details and photo in Texas newspapers. You can also appeal her through newspapers.
Best luck.

Register your Paternity with the State of Texas. You can google Texas paternity registry and follow the links. This will put you in the database, and so if she gets her kids taken by CPS at least you might be called. Also, start trying to pay child support registry even 25 a month will kick into the system and cause all the Child support folks to have to find her, and start paying her. She may already be getting food stamps, or medicaid.

Okay, I've been through this situation so please don't waste any more time. 1st, do you have custody of the child? If not get it. If there is no custody order no one can help you leagally. The other parrent does not have to be there for you to get custody. 2nd contact the national center for missing and exploited children. ask them to send you any info they have on parental kidnaping. This info was very helpful to me. It will give you step by step instructions on the procedures to follow to make local, state and federal law inforcement help you. There is also several non-profit groups that help locate children that have been abducted by a parent. do a search on google.
It is a crime to interfer with custody procedings and it is a crime to hide witha child to avoid a custody proceding. If you have the resorces get a good attorney they can assist you if filing the proper paper work with you local courts. You can do this you self in most states but be ready for allot of research and work. pound on doors and make allot of noise, don't take no for an answer. contact every official you can. call them every day write them every day, visit their office as offton as you can. Be peaceful, but assertive, let them know you will stop bothering them when you child is found. One thing I learned the hard way is this is not a quick thing. It took me almost 2 years to find my kids. Don't give up, no matter how bad or hard it seems.
americian assoc. for lost children was also a great help to me. www.aaflc.org
Good luck and God bless.

That is so sad. Try to get help from the police. There are white pages online where you can get the location of practically anyone in the world. Most of them don't cost a thing.
I'm praying for you and your daughter! Good luck, and I hope you get her back soon.

How old is your daughter? Does your ex have any legal grounds to have custody of her? Try a private investigator, contact the police, put ads in the newspapers, radio stations and t.v. stations.... I can only imagine how you feel now. How can you be so sure they're in Texas? Good luck.

well, sadly without more information, the police can not help you much, ESPECIALLY if you do not have custody.
a few questions-
1- how old is your daughter?
2- is there a court order for visitation?
3- what state are YOU in?
4- does your ex's family talk to her? to you?
i think i can help a bit more with advice if i knew those things!
