Do you think its strange to see a man with a totally smooth private area? Do you think its cool? What would you say if your date did not tell you he was shaven down there or you seen a man with a shaven smooth private area in a dressing room or party?

Not at all! I think it's so much nicer "down there" when it's been tended to. I actually prefer it totally smooth! So much nicer and enticing for *me*! Men totally shaving their private area is a lot more common than you think, partially because a lot more women than you think prefer it that way!
It might be a little weird if he had his private area waxed (only because you gotta wonder about a guy who would willingly put himself through that kind of pain), but simple shaving maintainence is completely normal. If your man doesn't do it already, encourage him to try it, I promise it'll be a lot nicer for YOU!

I would not think it was strange or abnormal. You have a preference of how you would like your body to look with and without clothes on. This is one of several reasons people work out, pierce their body, etc. If it makes you feel good to have a smooth private area then it shouldn't matter what others think about it.

I don t and wouldn t shave mine.I have before and it was a miserable experience. But then again i m married and don t see myself dropping trou in front of any one new any time soon. I can see a guy trimming for the sake of cleanliness ( and to make his junk look bigger ) but a bald shave is just too uncomfortable.

This black guy I was dating for a while... someone had asked me if black people have the 'fro thing going on "down there" and I responded that I'd check the next time..well, you know, and well, he shaved.
I really don't care either way, though.

trust me. 100% Dont shave down there. Especially if ur privates will be seen by others.
Its itchy, and ull scratch that sucker like mad. Its not worth the constant scratching
I suggest you take some scissors and just trim it. keep it short.. male pronstars wax more than they shave.

well for starters i would'nt see a guy at a party or dressing room with shaved privates...i'm a girl but if my partner shaved i would say none of your bees wax i ca'nt even believe i answered this question...

nooo its good that its shaved but i prefer to just be trimmed not completely hairless i think that should applie more to girls...but its better to be groomed then to bushy and have hair flyin every which way down there..lol

well... nowadays most women actually expect you to be AT LEAST trimmed down there, anything else, they find gross... if you shave, go ahead, but just remember that you're gonna have to deal with itch when it starts growing back unless you keep shaving, and... you're gonna have to deal with ingrown hairs.
