You can write ("burn") an mp3 file directly on the camera's memory card if you have a memory card reader connected to your computer. (The readers are also writers.)

You can also "burn" any files through the camera's usb connection.

But do not use your CD/DVD burner software. Just use Save or Copy/Paste like you are writing to a hard drive.

Most cameras are not programmed to play mp3 files. Check your camera's User Guide to see if they say it will work.

If you want to try:

. Take the memory card out of the camera, and put it into a memory card reader on or connected to the computer. Or else connect the camera itself with the USB cable. Turn on the camera.

. Start Windows Explorer, and locate one of the mp3 files and the memory card/camera. The card will be under My Computer. It will look like a hard drive, except that the letter will be different than "C".

. Right Click the mp3 file and choose Copy.

. Right Click the memory card drive and choose Paste.

The mp3 file is now on your memory card. Take the card out of the reader and put it back in your camera.

See if the camera will play the mp3 file. Try putting the camera into Review mode (or whatever your User Guide says to do).

I hope it works for you!
