The best friend of terrorists in the United States would be someone who helps them recruit internationally. It would be someone who makes America waste resources without achieving the goal of making the nation more secure. It would be someone who ensures that Americans are widely hated, so that they will continue to be a prime target of the violence. On all counts, that sounds like George W. Bush, who has been the recruiter in chief, has wasted resources at home (as demonstrated during the hurricane Katrina disaster) and abroad (by invading a nation that clearly was no threat and had no involvement in 9/11), and has insulted and offended much of the world with lies and brash statements like "Bring 'em on."

The NYT is very dangerous and has published stories that have killed US troops.

Two examples:

They are the ones who broke the story that we were using 'IED Jammers' in Iraq and described how those jammers worked. As a result the enemy changed tactics and our casualties from IED attacks increased.

Recently they exposed how we were tracking and capturing the people financing the attacks on our troops in Iraq. This will result in more attacks - which will produce more US and Iraqi civilian casualties.

I personally had to risk getting killed as a result of a bogus CNN story. During the battle of Samara CNN reported that "hundreds" of civilians had been killed. I was sent into the city (during a battle) in an attempt to locate the nonexistent civilian casualties.

The NY times is just part of the big picture which include the majority of the mainstream media, many liberal minded politicians and leaders, hollywood and the entertainment industry, many of our universities and their professors, and the muslim insurgency right here within the usa. When you combine them all, you have a formidable force. Like Michael Savage says, the enemy is within.

Yes. The Times has a reputation for blaming America rather than defending her.

I would say that was an exaggeration with an element of truth in it. The ACLU would be a better example in my opinion.
