Interesting combination of words;

"Nothing existed"

It's both the question and the answer.

"before creation" is nonsensical. You are stating there was time before time.

Everything that exists was created by God. Now, before he created the heavens and the earth, he created angels - some of which rebelled against him. But, before that was nothing. The entire material universe (or universes if you prefer) was created by God out of nothing. God is outside of time and space. He is eternal and does not have material essence. Time is part of creation. I know this is hard to understand, but that's because we are finite in our understanding.

Well, God created Time space and matter and information for this "dimension". Heaven exists in another "dimension" So before the act of creation, none of what WE know existed. But a whole other realm exists, it is called eternity

Well God existed. And so did Satan. And so did God's sons. And so did the Angels. Also, probably, so did heaven.

"nothing" could be a metaphor. A simple statement, meaning no stars, no planets, no Earth, no water, no sand.

Nope. God EXIST before everything else. :) Since God create time, the word 'before' and 'after' is also beyond God's control.

Everything has always existed in one form or another. Something can not be created from nothing.

Well......yeah. Its that simple, lol, a lot of people will try to make it complicated for you, but its really simple. I believe God is much more literal in the bible than we take Him to be.
