All religions are guilty of this, not just Christianity. All of them teach that they are morally superior to the others and anyone who doesn't follow that particular path is a moralless infidel. And anyway, it's often just the extremists in those paths who believe that way. The more moderate and liberal-minded ones generally don't.

That's not true. Almost every human has morals and values in their life. But the thing is christians shouldn't live by that alone. Being a good person and doing good deeds won't get you into heaven. A true christian should have an extra sense. And that is a Godly view of things. Christians should live differently from the world. People don't seem to understand; God works in the supernatural, God represents miracles, but the world thinks in the natural. So of course if you don't understand who God is then you won't be able to comprhend how he works and what he can do.

Why is it that all you Athiest can do is bash Christians? Society as a whole has no values because it is not the "cool thing to do" look around dude. Most Christians do not think they only have values only that most of the world does not have them. Are you most of the world? if not then great for you. more people should have them and we would not have all the problems we have now.

What makes you think Christians have values? Why do so many Christians get married 3 months pregnant when the BIBLE is so down on Fornication!?
Why do so many Christians persecute Blacks, Witches, Jews, Muslims?
What kind of values are these?!
Christian values are just like Republican values: There IS no GLOBAL WARMING! There IS no such thing as a BAD CORPORATION. Deregulation is GOOD for the country!
Look how many Republicans are Christians!
Christains give Christianity a bad name sometimes!
Not all, but many of them don't realize they are talking the Lord's name in vain!
Christians need to start living as Jesus said to!
Read the Bible. Understand Jesus. Stop being so judgemental! (See, even I fail at that one! But at least I know it!)

Hah! Then the whole world would be filled such with corruption and violence that Christians would be slaughtered left and right! No, I think you're over-generalizing it. I'm a Christian, and I hardly agree with that. Society is influenced by religious values, yes, but it doesn't mean that Christians are the only ones *with* values. That'd be crazy. I'm sure you don't intend to kill, rape, and steal all your life. Morals *can* exist outside of religion, of this I am sure.

We don't think we are the only ones with values! You are stereotyping. That is a horrible thing to stereotype too!! You obviously don't know anything about Christians and how we think!

This i dont know. I am no religion actually. I firmly believe that religion was created to hold us back from the truth. If the Devil's greatest lie was convincing people he didnt exist then why couldnt he corrupt every religion? We see it all the time, priests raping young boys, people killing in the name of their religion. To know GOD is to love GOD. One only needs to pray to him, read the bible and follow the commandments. In the last days Jesus himself said their would be many false prophets....
Well why is it that now there are more religions than at any time in history? Why do we see so many priests sexually assaulting young boys? Makes you think doesnt it?
The answer is simple. All we have is FAITH. With FAITH Jesus said EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. We lose this and we are prone to attack by Satan himself. How does one lose faith? You confuse them with mass religions, show them that the one they believed was true is false and confuse them... Are we not seing this today?

Please don't stereotype Christians. I get a little tired of bigotry. Anyway, many Christians are perfectly aware that we don't have the market cornered on morality. One place I can evidence this is in this document written by a Christian writer:

the premise is faulty logic-
But anyways, it only stands to reason that if morals is based on a set standard (the Bible) then all morals can be judged by this standard. Simple. However it's the folks that don't want to play by the rules that whine about it.
