what do you prefer, small dogs or large dogs? which is better? =o)?

i prefer small dogs
1. i live in an appartment, so small breed dogs are more suitable
2. i'm the paris hilton kinda girl. i llike to tot my pooch around everywhere i go, so the size is more convenient
3. i don't like a lot of slober. big dogs = big slober; small dogs = small slober
4. small dogs don't doo doo too big. i like it cause my yorkie (whose under 7 lbs), goes wee wee outside AND ON A PAD. so if i don't feel like taking him outside (on rainy or laizy days), i don't have to. or on days when i'm gone all day, i know he doesn't have to wait for me to go back
5. i don't have a yard. if i did, i would love to have a big dog.

Depends on your personality and the dogs, your living situation, and how much time and money your willing to put into another life!! people don't OWN dogs they HAVE them as friends and companions, if you are looking for a "trophy" dog then go to a gift shop and buy a statue to put on your shelf. all dogs carry a deal of responsibility, patience, understanding, and love. and as people dogs are all different there really is no correct answer to this question, you could a great Dane it will be the sweetest thing on the planet or you could a chiuaua and it could be the meanest thing on the planet. you just have to look for a dog that matches your personality and one you could get along with, much like finding a roommate, my suggestion would be to check out local shelters and adopt, its a good cause and the best place to find a dog with a compatible personality!!!

Both are great. However if you like to travel a tiny dog is great. Big dogs don't live as long and they cost more to feed also. Dogs of any size require a full time commitment. You will end up in love regardless

It depends on your life style> if you live in the City and in an apartment..then a small dog..i live outside of the city and go hiking all the time..i own all large breed dogs... (my picture is my dog.,,,also view my 360 page!) it also depends on your experience with small / large/ANY dog.

And i dont like cockers. (never have/Will own one)

Nobody can tell you which is better, because they are all great dogs, and everyone has their own personal opinion about it. I like both.. I like having a small dog and a big dog.

It would depend on my surroundings, where I lived, how big my yard was or is. I live in town therefore I have a small dog and enough room in my back yard for him to run and bigger dogs should be more in the country with lots of acres to run dogs love to have room run.

I like big dogs, but my husband like smaller dogs. Currently we have 2 English Springer Spaniels (medium dogs) I think it depends on where you live and how much time you have to devote to them. The smaller dogs are good for apts., but if you have a yard a bigger dog is great.

I guess it all matters on where you live, what your personality is and such. If you live in a small house or apartment perhaps a small dog would suit you better, if you live in a wide open space a bigger dog might be best...It's one of those "depends on" things.

Small dogs are cute, you can do more with them, but they won't help protect you. Bigger dogs will help protect you and they won't be easly stepped on. However, they might need more work, needs.

i had a mastiff and i loved him he protected me like no little dog could do. but little dogs can sit in your lap without squishing you to death. i prefer big dogs that way i won't have to watch where i step making sure i don't squish him.
