I drink it and am proud of it!I drink the Chard.I used to be a bartender at a very successful club and had to deal with all the wine reps and one of them turned me on to it.It is actually one of the best selling wines in the US.To all the other people who turned their noses up to it, I venture to guess they have never tried it.I also bet at a wine tasting it would be the one they would choose!I'm going to go get a glass now!Cheers!

Actually if you think about it boxed wines aren't that bad of an idea considering they have been selling for 20 years or more now. Cork is becoming more rare and synthetic corks are now being used. But if a good wine is "boxed" it is in an airtight container that will keep the wine fresher longer instead of going bad after a few days of opening. Air is good for some wines but bad for others. If the wine needs air just let it breathe in the glass. Boxed wines are now winning tastes tests and awards. Plus you get more wine compared to the price of 4 decent $20.00 bottles for the price of one $20.00 decent bottle. Check out the sites above. Decide for yourself. Wine is after all personal taste.

Sorry, wine in boxes is a bit too trashandel for me.. kinda like buying boones farm wines.. just not the same and doesnt make the same impression as a nice bottle of well picked out wine

NO! Although in college, we discovered the party in a box, it had chard on one side and merlot on the other. I had a friend that we would split the party with and drink it out of the bladder directly. Thank God I have discovered wine doesnt have to taste like the floor of a subway.

wine is 12% alcohol and franzia is 4 liters per box so 104lbs+65in*12%/4=5 you would need to drink 5 glasses of wine to get drunk

People who say boxed wine tastes as good as expensive wine have very underdeveloped tastes. Avoid boxed wines like the plague.

In Australia it is nicknamed Goon. It is cheap and nasty. It is the thing that underage aussies and uni students drink to get drunk. I personally will not drink it, as I'm not that big of a wine drinker, and because my ex bf, who is an alcoholic, would drink it all the time. It was enough to put me off it forever.

Personally I'm not a big wine drinker, but my mom loves them. She doesn't usually drink them with guests since they have a bad rep but give it a try :)
