wow
right now, im dating my best friends ex
i was able to tell him before we started dating that i like her and i gave him time to recover after they broke up, so it worked out fine anyways
but for your case, id say u tell them plain and simple, online or on the phone or something, whatever makes u feel most comfortable
or if u really dont want to tell him, they are best friends, so he should find out from your bf anyways

There is no guarantee he won't freak out. Sorry, but there isn't. Just be honest. It depends how long the two of you were together and how serious you were. I put more fault on his friend, because his friend is the one that really betrayed him if you ask me.

You don't owe your ex anything, you don't have to tell him. I've been through the whole dating my ex's friend thing, it never works.

Um....If it really is his best friend he should find out from him. I don't think that it is his best friend. Because you are not suppose to do something like that to your friend. Unless you 2 were just a fling. But if y'all were serious. The whole situation is ****** up.

I don't think it's vital that you tell your ex anything, unless you're still good friends. Maybe get your new bf to let him know since they are best buds.

well if he is your ex then he is not your boyfriend. you may still have feelings for him and want to be his friend and everything but the best thing to do is just be honest with him. in my opinion honesty is always the best policy.

he's your ex...unless you're trying to make him jealous, don't tell him...he'll find out on his own & if he freaks out remind him that he's your ex.
