Of course you'd like a serious reply, but then why pose it here? I'm sorry, but you're just asking for a whole not of negativity. Wouldn't a church group be a better forum?

Well, first of all, I'd be stunned that God was visiting me. So I'm sure at first I would be in a state of shock and wonder if it was for real or if it was a dream or something. But if I decided that it was true, I think the only thing I could do would be to pray and study the Bible, looking for answers, analyzing the Old Testament and comparing it to the New Testament. Many stories in the New Testament are about Jesus and or his disciples fulfilling prophecies made in the New Testament or the stories are parallel, just related to Jesus instead of the Ten Commandments.

I'd declare his new nickname be 'Captain Obvious'. And I do mean that seriousely.
As far as seeking enlightenment elsewhere... I grew up in an Atheist family, but I always thought there was just a tiny bit more to life than eat, work, sleep. Nothin' miraculous like what the Bible preaches, but something. I have sought enlightenment in all areas of life and I've come to my own personal conclusion already. I don't need 'God' to tell me where to really find it.

I would not bother to figure it out. If God didn't want to tell me what was corrupted that would be up to God. I don't feel the need to find the answers to everything. Let me say that if God told me the Bible was corrupted because of human error I would not be surprised because I already know this.

I believe that the Bible is corrupted, since the Bible nowadays come in many versions and each version differ from the others. Why don't you look for truth in Quran, the holy reading of the moslems. From its revelation until now, millions of people have memorizing its content precisely so alteration can be detected easily. Quran also contain informations about Jesus and Bible.

god doesn't have to tell people that. the churches have controlled what goes in and what doesn't. the original scrolls found tell alot more, but the church decided what should and shouldn't be put in it. alot of it is graphic so the church didn't want it in. just recently they discovered another scroll that one of the twelve apostles wrote no one knew about. think it will get put in? i've seen the scrools and the bible is written nothing like the scrolls, but rather how the church wants it stated. there is a book finally out now on parts of the scrolls left out of the bible by the church. the bible states that its against his law to change the bible. are the churches going to hell as they printed it not in gods words but in what they wanted to be printed. if god wanted everyone to know, why did the churches leave out graphic written and talk of true evil.

I would say, "Then, O Creator, please lead to the light and the truth and endow me with the wisdom to know it when I see it, hear it, think it. I would set the old Bibles aside and eagerly receive Oahspe which tells the religion of the God(s). I would read it all some 900 pages from 1 to 900ish and I would find time in my life to read this book more times, several times perhaps. , and do so with an open mind.

It doesn't take an really smart person to figure out what you imply, it just takes the ability to ask questions. Taoism is good, Those guys who lived in Tibet were good sources and most of the religions of the world have some basic truths, but one has to live whats taught. If you can't live it, then its corrupt information.

The Bible is a cheap fan magazine, it's the only link these Christian groupies have to their remote idol...they simply wouldn't believe God if he said that the Bible was in error...it's too late for them...they have become Bible fetishists already.
