There should be instructions with the clippers. If not, try searching online for "clippers instruction" or "clippers manual". It doesn't have to be the one for your clippers, just a similar one.

If your clippers do not have combs that attach to regulate the length, I'd suggest waiting until you can get one that does.

Use the longest comb there is to start, then carefully use slightly shorter combs for shorter areas. Remember, you can always go shorter, but going longer takes a long time!

It takes skill{with practice} and a great mirror in back of you,as well as a mirror to hold in front of you.My sons mastered this.Good luck!!!
