We are both 27, and she said she wanted to be 'friends' only now,and when I avoid her she says maybe we shouldn't talk anymore, but its awkward since we work together. We've been apart for a few months and recently shes been wanting to stay over and spend time together only as friends, but everytime we start getting intimate she says 'we shouldn't be doing this' and then we stop. A few days ago she said I dont act the same like when we were going out, and I don't understand that she broke up with me due to her father wanting her to end up with a white guy and I'm brown. She thinks I hate her, I told her I don't hate her but at the same time we aren't together anymore so I can't treat her like my girlfriend.its like I'm good enough to be her friend but not good enough to be her boyfriend, she wants to hang out but when we start to cuddle she says we shouldnt be doing this. I told her I can't make decisions for her, what do I do? she said the decision is not up to her?

Well, if you aren't going with each other you shouldn't be trying to cuddle with her (and further) with her. Then again, she should not be hanging around your place either, because she should know the effect she has on you.
What if you met someone else, how would you explain your ex-girlfriend hanging out at your place?
Do you think that she truly still likes you and wants to be with you, except that her father forced her to break up with you? Have you talked to her father about how he feels towards you? That is pretty racist and F'ed up if he truly can't deal with his daughter dating someone outside of her race.

man i would let that girl go if she dosen't want u for a boyfriend and 4 a friend keeps playing on u and leaves u hangen then i say just leave her alone and if she say way r u not acting the way u guys where when u guy where dating then tell her probably because u guys aren't dating anymore just be friends and stop getting close 2 each other it eather go back out and give each other love then just missing with each other felling and if u love her alot that your willing 2 let her miss with u then talk 2 her tell her that u love her and u want 2 be with her good luck

The only thing you can do is get away from her. Don't talk to her at all. Let her know you won't waste your life playing games. She obviously knows she can get to you. Just be strong and stay away from her. It will get easier as time goes on.
