When I was 11 and in the 5th grade I seriously thought I was pregnant. now I am 19......?

I look at the situation and laugh because when I was in the 5th grade I only would let the guys dry hump me and being that young i didn't understand that it couldn't get me pregnant. I feel so dumb for being that upset and anxious that I was pregnant when I was 11. i mean i put myself through all the upsetness when I was 11. Man was I slow!!!! what do you think?

I wouldn't say so. I know people who still believed in Santa Clause and the tooth fairy when they were 11, just because they were well sheltered. The fact you thought you could be pregnant is at least a step up so far as you didn't think you'd have to make a trip to the cabbage patch.
(Personally, my sex-ed started in Kindergarten when a kid who watched porn with his parents came to school the next day and shared. The teacher had to sit the class down and tell us what was what, and that pretty much covered the basics of "Penis must go into vagina". I feel sorry for her now...and the poor kid must have been traumatized, but it saved confusion and discomfort later).

Don't feel dumb! Like Maya Angelous says, "I did what I knew how to do and when I knew better, I did better." It's completely normal to not understand at such a young age. Although, to be honest, I'm a little concerned that you were letting guys dry hump you at only 11 and that you are telling us about it.

I don't think you should have been dry humping at 11 and hopefully the fact that you thought you were pregnant made you back off from that kind of activity until you were a little older and a lot wiser.

I think at 11 that's far too much contact with boys.

I'm 16 and have made a deliberate choice not to do any more than kiss and hug a bf. Sex can wait until I am married. Mind you, my husband to be will have a wedding night he will never forget :)

I fully rec commend you do the same. Despite what the media and other people think, celibacy is in fact a great thing. A number of my girlfriends have slept with various boyfriends, and they all regret it eventually.

I think the fact that you were letting boys dry hump you at age 11 is pretty sickening. You were a child, not even a teen and you were already experimenting with sex. It makes me so sad to hear things like that!

I think that dry humpping at age 11 is a bit extreeme. I think that you might need to sit back and take a long look at your life back then and see what was going on with you.

I think it's too bad that a parent hadn't discussed sex with you before that so you wouldn't have to experience that anxiety. When I was in 5th grade a girl thought she was pregnant because she liked a boy a lot, and her mom had told her when two people love each other they can have a baby. She was teased so, so bad.

I didn't even kiss a boy for the first time until I was 12...I couldn't imagine the dry humping thing.....My girls are NEVER going to public school

I am very sorry that you had to go thru that as a child. i am not much older than you i am 21 and i had my first child at the age of 17. my first pregnancy was at age 14. if u had been me u would not think u were stupid. all it takes is someont to care for u. u obviously had a second chance or u would be like my 9yr old is having her first period pls help. sweety thank god every day for your secong chance. i did not take mine very serious. and although i would never trade my kids or my husband. i would really like to sleep by myself at least once more (i sleep wild at least i used to).
