Is it wrong you date your step-brother?
Is it wrong to date him, if you are NOT blood-related to him?
Is it wrong, if I have never had any 'sister-brother' relationships with him?
Is it wrong if only our parents think it's werid? when everyone else thinks it's wonderful?
I don't get it.
It can't be wrong.
He isn't blood related.
And we never EVER looked at each other as brother and sister ever since we met.
Could it really be that wrong?

Yes. We are old enough for this.
No, I am not "too young"
I just didn't know if my Mother was the only one who thought it was wrong.
We met BEFORE our parents started dating.
Now, I am not suprised if this questions gets the same reactions as to a question of homosexuality or something else.
I am asking opinions, not PERMISSIONS from anyone.

If you are not blood related there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

It depends on whether or not you want Jeff Foxworthy telling red neck jokes about you or not. Actually I know someone who married her step brother they seem to be happy. I think most psychiatrist would tell you that incest does not always have to do with the blood line. It is someone in a position in your family that you place trust in that can exert power over you and cause you to succumb to that power by having a sexual relationship. Someone who you are dependent upon as an authority figure. I'm not sure where your step brother would fit into all of this but if you feel comfortable with it and so does he and you are both old enough to make your own decisions then who can tell you not to. If you're not old enough to make this decision then listen to mom. Sometimes mom really knows best!

It is wrong if you live together as a family. It adds an unbelievable amount of stress (and that's if ya'll don't break up). Plus think about your parents taking a chance to build a life for themselves and ya'll after failed relationships. You will complicate their feelings of rightness being together. If you do live in the same home then it's better to wait until you are both out of the house. I had a fling with my step-brother through my teenage years (he was 4 years older), but he lived in CA with his mom while I lived with his dad and my mom in Texas. We did not share our passion for each other with our family. Funny thing happened when we got older, everything changed especially when I went to college.

If you two are adults and did not live together in your parent's place as kids then there's no problem in my book. If you met him first and wanted to date him before your parent's hooked up then technically you have first dibs. Go get him, tigress.
BTW, If the parents throw a fit, you could always be bang-buddies on the down-low. Other than parental apoplexy, there doesns't appear to be any psychological harm, and the kink factor can go a long way. ;-)
Darn it, Why can't my mom to get married so I can have a tryst with a new step-sister... :'(

I know a man who had dated his step-sis once, but they decided it was too weird for them.
OTOH, I also once met a married couple who were step-siblings!
Depending on how old you are, you should at least take your parent's concerns into account for a while. And, make sure the relationship proceeds VERY slowly, because if things turn bad, it will hang over you the REST of your LIVES.

Yeah...its NOT wrong. But the steryotypes and stigma surrounding this kind of relationship is a lot to get over, especially where your family is concerned. Moms and pops will be the hardest sell here sweetheart.

I guess it might be a little wierd but I wouldn't think it is wrong. I have a step-brother and can't really imagine every having a relationship like that with him. But I think of him like a brother.

It kind of sounds like the Brady Bunch Movie.
It depends if you live in the same house or not. If you do ... That's going to make life really weird for everybody. If you don't live together you have my permission.
