I think this is hard situation to be in but you have to be open and honest from the get go. Let his cousin down easy ( if there is such a thing). Let him know that you are not really interested in him. after that is cleared up then you can go for his cousin. But i dont think its right to go straight for his cousin without talking with him first. At least thats the best way to handle things in my opinion.

First, ruin the crush. Tell the cousin you "like" that you're going to go on one date with the other guy....when you do, go out, act like a total beeotch and then at the end of the date, tell him it just won't work....
