The question is a brave one! Supposedly, when God gives an individual this gift it is a gift of devotion. When you are devoted to celibacy, the ability to commit to a life of serving a higher ideal or idea comes very easily and naturally...there is no struggle or conflict within that individual about it. That is not to say that there are no challenging moments. I consider the vow of celibacy different than just the act of total abstinence sexually. Celibacy is not driven by any need or lack of need. It is a devotional commitment.

I assume you mean "would" instead of "mud".

On that assumption, I will answer. God intends for everyone to remain cellibate until marriage and to remain faithful to our mate throughout the marriage. (see the 10 commandments) Sex outside marriage is termed as fornication. Sex with a person other than your spouse is adultry. You can find scripture references for both in any concordance and look up the appropriate scriptures.

Celibacy is not mandated for anybody, including church leaders.

The bible based Christian view is that everyone is allowed to have one spouse.
