I'm in Kingman, Arizona!! And my son, just got stung by a scorpion, this morning. But, he only got sick, from it. I've had many friends get bit by, scorpions,many times.. And lived to tell about it .. the town I live in is the high desert.. We have very hot summers!! Temperatures, can get up too 115 degrees, out here, but, we also get snow, being in the high desert, its so Awesome here!! Plus, we live in a "Valley" surrounded by mountains, shaped like...we have this one, shaped like a "Dead Indian", his hands rested on his chest, with the "Head-dress,of feathers" on his head, the shape, of his face, feet and all. Then, we have another mountain, thats shaped like its giving you the middle finger, with knuckles,around it .. Then, we have Mtn. "Well-Endowed", I'll let your imagination tell you what that ones, about!! We have the mountains, right up our street, where dear run, all around. Then, there's this spot where you can park your car, in your own picnicing area.. With barbecue pits, their own, parking spot, benches,and a hiking trail, that leads to a playground, and a reception hall, at the top, for like people who, would like too get married, in the great-outdoors, and have all the children entertained at the same time, with the playground, right there!! Its such an "Awesome" town!! I'm from the "Big City", in LongBeach, Cal. I'm so glad I raised my kids here, instead, tho. Because, the city life, is smoggy,full of crime, and just the fast lane.. Here, we dont have to pay to go on vacation. We are so blessed to live in a vacation spot. And, its not overpopulated,either. I never thought I would ever learn, to appreciate the "Beauty" of the desert, until, I made the choice 12 years, ago, not to raise my children, in the "Big City", like I was.. And their better little people, for my decision. And, I have not regrets. You have a Real Nice Day, now.. By-By. Smile....
