Illustrator, by Adobe. There's a template for business cards, you can create any style of card you'd like and when you're done, you can translate your files into a printable format that even the guys at Kinko's can't mess up. You should just skip this board and email me directly, it would save both of us a lot of time.

Buy perforated Avery business cards. Don't spend the extra moola on the packs that contain the Design Pro CD. Just buy the cards you like and go to avery.com. At avery.com you can download the publishing programs. Take all that are free. Then, open the program (say design studio) and it will ask you what you want to do. Select "business Cards." A list will appear and ask you which card. This number is the one on the package you just bought. The wizard will bring you to the template for that particular card - fill it in - print it and you are done.

Avery makes more than business cards. They do letterhead, post cards, CD/DVD labels, mailing labels, file folder labels and lots of other stuff.

The programs are common enough, the trick is to get good quality (Avery, for example) card stock w VERY small perforations. They look cut, not torn.
