depends...
do you still have feelings for this person? and if you do, are you willing to risk getting hurt again and reliving old problems to try again?
if you honestly think that there may be some sort of future between the both of you, then fine...go for it. sometimes it takes losing something before you discover how important it is to you.
On the other hand, sometimes its better to let the "old horse lie" and move on for good. IF you broke up once, it must have been for a reason. If you cant fix that reason, then there's no sense in even attemting a re-trial.
Good LUCK!

depends. what caused the break up? did it get resolved? if it was a matter of trust, that is hard to rebuild. if you love each other, not just a good piece of ***, it can work. takes time and help with both of you. I remarried my ex 3 years ago. we both went through a lot of changed while apart (by miles) for 3 years. was together for 12 years before that. But we agreed, together thru thick and thin, health and sickness, til death. yes, we have hit tough times. but love and patience can and will conquer all. good luck.

Ask yourself whether you want him back. If you still have your undying love then just accept him back. If you think you are not sure then tell him you need time to search your soul. If you do not want him back just tell him "sorry, it's too late, I have no place for you" or "sorry, I don't want you"
