It's good that you cut out the sweets, but you also have to take into account what other foods you are eating and how much of them. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
Another possibility is that even though you are gaining weight, you may be losing fat since you are exercising so much. Muscle weighs more than fat so when you first start an exercise program it is not unusual to notice a weight gain. A more accurate way to track yourself would be to take your measurements and see how they change... fat takes up more space than muscle. Or just go by how your clothes fit. If none of that seems to work, you may want to talk to your physician. It may be a medication that you are on that is causing you not to be able to lose, or at the very least he may be able to recommend a healthy eating plan specifically for your body type and needs. And remember, you don't want to lose too fast, all the weight will just come back then. Good luck.

At 14, it really doesn't matter what you eat, you are still going to gain weight. When you say dieting, are you really saying Starving? Because if you eat under a certain amount of calories (less than 500) or if you only eat once a day, your body will go into starvation mode, and it will keep and store anything you take in. Also, you said that you are exercising 2 hours a day. Understand that muscle outweighs fat, and what you really should be looking at is waist size, and not poundage. Hope this helps!

Weight is a relative thing, as there is a point in the begining that weight gain is possible, then loss happens. And if you tend to be heavier boned/ broad build, when you start makeing muscle mass you can as well gain weight. This is only by the numbers. You have to look at clothes sizes and how you look overall. I have gone on many weight diets at different times. I am tall for a girl and weight carries differntly on me. When i am tone and in shape i weigh more than my ideal weight, because muscle weighs more than fat. Just remember that.

The older you get the more you fill in your body. If you are taking any kinds of meds, look up the side effects on them, even over the counter meds. Also, if it is in your family then it is also in your gene. Just don't give up, keep fighting your weight and maybe see a Dr. about it. Being your age and the weight and height the Dr. could help you in losing weight. Don't give up!

muscle weighs more than fat so you will gain weight due to the fact that you are loosing fat but gaining muscle. Eventually you'll start to loose the weight.

i would figure you would loose weight at that diet in about two weeks but if you continue to gain weight you should check with your doc maybe a thyroide problem? good luck!
