One can only hope. We all may believe in different things, but we are still the same in the end.

There are more and more interfaith organizations formed every year. And there is a growing amount of respect among many Christians for religions other than their own.

Sure, there are many loud, judgmental people from all religious groups who seek to divide/exclude.

But... read the number of posts on this site from Christians who say they admire Muslims, have Jewish friends, have Mormon relatives, etc.

Even our Born-Again President uses positive words when talking about Islam. And after 9/11, many Christians, Muslims, and Jews came together to pray for peace.

Hope is not lost, even if it seems that way sometimes.

Unless all religion is abolished, NO, because all religion innately teach to hate others if they do not believe in your religion. The non-believers will all go to Hell !!! So, using this as a starting point, how could all people then come together in spite of their religion and be friends? We would be holding the hand of the devil and thus throwing ourselves at the devil.

This is why I CHOOSE not to believe in God (any god), Heaven, or Hell... I choose to live a good, moral, rich (heart and mind), kind and loving life because this is how I am and I wish to live. I don't live these to ascend to Heaven. I actually believe that if you live life to ascend to Heaven, you NEVER WILL... because you are not living life for the right reasons...

I don't mind loving all people irrespective of what their believe is because I have no ulterior motive to not love them...

No, because whatever one person believes, there are always ten more people with a completely opposite view on it. There is no subject in which the entire world can agree on, and certainly not everyone would get together in the name of one thing.

No, (sorry if youre not catholic/christian) but i believe (and the bible says so) that one day satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and all people who didnt believe that christ is the only way to heaven will be judged and sent to different levels of hell while the believers with stay in heaven with God and worship Him forever for all eternity

I like to believe that one day the entire world will live in harmony and peace, regardless of race, creed, origin, class, etc. But I'm an eternal optimist. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm sorry dear,
I'm afraid they won't. What you wrote sounds so sweet, but God's has other plans. You can go there now and read it for yourself as we still have the opportunity to own our King James Bibles. Its all in the volume of the Book.><>

Not in a bzillion years.

People can't agree on objective issues, how can we expect them to come to a consensus on something as subjective (and ridiculous) as religion?
