I'm a minor, so therefore can't be the religion of my choosings, but I've searching around and, at this moment, my beliefs are most closely matched with Reformed Judaism.

None, I am my own 'religion' There is no proof that any events written in the bible or any other religious paperback novel ever occured and just like I can't convince believers, believers can not convince me.

I accept that there are people with faith and faith is not even a bad thing. Faith is believing in something that a normal rational person would not otherwise believe in. Faith actually is very helpful in getting people through life and giving them purpose. Is it healthy? Not always... especially for the ones that take it too far.

Both my parents and in-laws are religious people, so it's not like I grew up in an athiest family that I have these views. I don't believe in doing something good to eventually be rewarded at the end. I don't believe that a physical being is able to tell me how I should live in order to be allowed into Heaven. A book does not have all the answers.

A person should live a good, loving, moral, and rich (heart and mind) life because it's within them to live this life. It has to be a part of them and what they really believe. Do I believe that we only live 80 years and this is all? No, I believe there is purpose to our lives, that there is another realm that we will go to upon our completion here, but that life is not what any book right now tells us it will be. I am not a religious person, I am a spiritual person because I CHOOSE to be...

If your God (this statement covering all religions) is so righteous and all knowing, then why all the hate and animosity for the other religions? Why does almost every religion state that you will go to "Hell" for not believing their God? If your way is the right way, then isn't it inate in all of us to be able to live that life? Why do we have to fear to believe? Why do we have to bring negativity to others to prove your point?

If your religion is so just, then it should be able to be accepted based on it's own merits...

Like I said, I believe their is more to our lives than the now, but I will live this life to the best of my abilities and be the best person I can because that is me... and that is how I choose to live life. I'm not claiming to be a God loving person to ascend to Heaven upon death, but while I'm living, cheat, steal, kill, and claim to be loving...

I live my life the way I want to and you live yours the way you want to. If God helps you through your life, then great and more power to your faith. Don't sell me your religion and I won't sell you my views. In the end, one way or another, both of us will know what is next for us...

Final thought, if there were a Hell, I would imagine it's quite crowded about now with more sinners than Heaven bound people...

I'm a Christian. I believe that God is real for many reasons. For one thing, how else was the world created? I don't buy into evolution, it doesn't make any sense. God has answered so many of my prayers and taken care of me that I can't deny Him. I have seen Him perform miracles that couldn't be explained any other way. Just because you can't see God doesn't mean He isn't there. I've never seen the wind, but I've seen the trees blowing. I've never seen God, but I've seen Him work in people's lives, including my own.

My religion is one of my own creation based on several other beliefs...I believe in evolution but I also believe that the earth is a kind of living creature on its own not in a physical sense ( i obviously dont think it eats and breathes etc) but more like the earth has its own kind of presence or spirit....it might sound stupid to you but the best thing I can come up with is I believe in Mother Earth and Father Time. It makes sense to me and I will try to explain.... the earth to me is like a womb if you will with all kinds of life upon it and time brings change to the earth that shapes the life inside the womb, the earth is what creates and sustains life and time is what shapes and ends life. I believe this because it makes sense to me and it corresponds to what we humans have been able to scientifically discover or theorize about (evolution). I really dont believe in a god that created us in his image because it seems improbable to me and frankly egotistical. I like to believe that the earth is our creator and time is what shaped us, and that we are all equal animals, fish, birds, insects, mammals, humans we are all children of the planet we live on and we are all just as precious and unique as our planet.

I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior because the Bible (God's Word) says so.
God loved the world so much that He sent His one and only son to die for my and your sins, because we are all sinners!
After I recieved Jesus as my Savior my life was changed because I was born again. I have never been the same since.
Praise God!!

I am agnostic, and I "believe" in it because it is the only thing I CAN believe.

I truly think that I will never be able to know whether or not there is a god, and so the only thing I can logically conclude is that I don't know. Got it?

I'm a follower of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of mankind. I believe it because He has given us His never changing Word and because He lives in my heart.

I am a Christian.

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm

For evidence for the historicity and truth of Jesus Christ, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/jesus.htm

Cordially,
John
