What is the best studying subjects or educational paths to pursue if you want a career as an inventor?

Invention is a natural process.You cannot learn.It is an inbourn skill.If you stll want to be an inventor find out a problem and study that line and concentrate on that.You may become an invenor.For example now there is no medicine for AIDs.Invent it.You have to study,biology,biochemistry and medicine etc.By the way many inventions are got by hit and miss.
Read the biography of Thomas Alwa Edison.I thing he had maximum number of inventions to his credit.
