I took my last question off cause you all were judging me because of what I wrote. I'm not a cruel person. I was simply stating that there has to be away to make teens think about the consequences of sex and having a baby.....then they will get on birthcontrol. I didn't know you all were so judgemental! Gosh, I'll just go now and never come back!

A lot of people are opinionated and passionate about what they believe. If they're honestly insulting you, then they're probably just having a bad day or want some free points. In any case, I'm really hooked on Yahoo! Answers and I just ignore the idiots. If you take it too personally, then they won! If not, then they just continue with their bad day and feel better tomorrow! :)

You deleted it before I even finished my answer...lol I basically said that I was a teen mom. I had 2 kids before I was 20. With my fist, I waited 24 hours before getting the epidural. Labor lasted 36 hours with her. With my second, I waited 21 hours before getting the epidural. Labor with her lasted 26 hours. Both were conceived on birth control. I had a mirena inserted when my youngest was 6 weeks old. I found out when I was pregnant with my youngest that I have an above average fertility rate. I just wanted to let you know that the question you asked, I totally agreed with the solution. I volunteered everything in that question except putting my kids up for adoption. I also have never been on welfare and am still with their father so I guess that would make it different. Anyways, don't let people on here offend you. You had a great point and a lot of us agreed with you

The FIRST (1st) SEVEN (7) YEARS of a child's life, we must TRAIN them; the SECOND (2nd) SEVEN YEARS, we must GUIDE them; the THIRD (3rd) SEVEN YEARS, we must LOVE AND PRAY for them.

The first seven years lay the groundwork--the most important years. If we haven't trained them, the guiding of them has less effect; but is still important/effective; and if we haven't trained/guided them, all we can do is pray for them--BUT--this part works. Do it! But by the time they've reached the age of reason (15), only what they've learned by training and guiding, and loving and prayers, can get them the rest of the way.

You can try to train/guide a 15-year-old. Good luck. They're in God's hands now.

Birth control!? What about good parenting by good example; teaching abstinance 'til after marriage?

Don't be a coward. You are doing the most difficult and most important job in the world. Please come back. We love you. We just want the best for you and your child. Open your mind and your heart. Get your ego out of the way. For the sake of your child, come back, and let's discuss this like a loving family.

I'm very sorry they judged you. I have gotten some hate mail as well and I find it kind of ironic because they get on here asking opinions and then get upset when you give it. And if you don't like a question, don't answer it, ya know!! So if they didn't like your question, they should have just skipped right over it rather than make you feel sad! I apologize...

There is a way to make teens think about the consequences. It is called Parenting. It is time for parents to step up to the plate and take responsibility for their children.

You should not go and you should not listen to what others say. You are entitled to your own opinions.

Sorry, but after you put something that is potentially hurtful or controversial you have to be prepared for some kind of criticism, good or bad.
