I had braces for over 10yrs. I had just about everything odne to me. I got them when I was 7yrs old (its best to get them when you're young) I had SOME teeth pulled at the General Dentist. There are some things thta might hurt at the Orthodontist. Depending on what you;re having done depends on the degree of pain you feel afterwards. Generally you're gonna feel pain after the tighten something and when you have just had a new appliance go on.
You will be fine. Its not that bad.

The only part that i hated about braces was after they tightened them; miserable as hell. And yes they do num your gum before they pull a tooth.

You are numbed if they pull a tooth. Its really not that bad. Its kinda cool afterword, because usually you can keep the teeth and show your friends at school! The worst part about braces is if you have to get rubberbands on them. That usually doesnt come till the second year of treatment. They really arent that bad. you dont even notice them after a week.
Fair winds and smooth sailing

if they pull a tooth, they will of course numb u. braces are only painful the first few months u have them. not everyday of course, just for a few days after each time they put new wires on. i had braces for 4 years, and after a while they dont hurt u at all. they're just annoying when u eat, particularly things like bread, lettuce, that kind of thing.

there is nothing really painful about it. When they tighten em, it hurts the most. Yes, they will numb the gum in the location of where you are getting the tooth pulled.

the most painful thing abuiot braces is when you get them on ... they have thyis thing that hold your mouth open the whole time... idki have a tiny mouth maybe thats why it hurted...

OR when they take them off.

everything in the middle is ok. you get used to it at least... and the finished product is greaaaat :) remember to wear your retainers or those 2-5 years will be wasted ;)

If you need teeth pulled they will numb your mouth. The only discomfort is when they tighten them. Good luck!! You'll have a beautiful smile afterwards.
