Weight Watchers is a wonderful program. The core system and the points system are both great. It really is just a preference. Their online support and features really help. You can calculate the points values of your own recipes, keep track of your food and points online, weight tracker, chat rooms etc. If attending a local meeting is not for you, you will enjoy the online program. This site has some good info too

each person and their weight loss struggle is different. The key is to find a system that works for you and have a support system in place to keep you going. The beginning is the worst part. Weight Watchers worked for my husband because the food is prepackaged with points on the pkg., and it tastes great. (I love the ziti)
They determine how many points you get a day when you join. You determine how you want to "spend" them. WW teaches you portion control, not starvation. If you find out the weekly meetings aren';t for you , you still have the info and how many points you show limit yourself to and can continue on your own.

Also WW food is a balance of calories, carbs, sugar, fat. Other low fat dinners and stuff are high in sugar, which can cause diabetes and it also turns into fat.

Also-the most weight change will prob. happen in the beginning because your metabolism is adjusting to the new intake levels. You will plateua sometimes, but keep going. You are retraining your body and metabolism.

GOOD LUCK!

It works but is a terrible thing making you obsessed with food (counting portions etc,). This site has everything you need to know. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).

You need to re-learn how to eat. Find out about fastest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which makes people look a lot fatter (bloated). Learn everything on site below so you can understand how food and exercise affects your body. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Due to this pandemic, for the first time in 100 years, the children of Americans have a lower life expectancy than their parents. Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water is not hurting you.

I've never tried the Weight watchers online thing. I just bought the books and do it at home on my own.

I started WW two weeks ago. I haven't signed up for the online program, because I like going to the meetings.

If you can't find a meeting near you, then I would definitely sign up online.

I lost seven pounds my first week, and am up to ten. WW is by far the easiest diet I've been on.

Good Luck!

Everyone is different. It depends on your metabolism. Don't get discouraged , you just have to keep on it and learn to discipline yourself. Weight Watchers is excellent because it teaches you how to eat and not deprive yourself of your favorite foods and it also teaches you how to limit your portions.

First off, how much is it online?

I know that they hold "meetings" at your local women's club, for 10$ a week and you get new tips/books. . .
