The second person has it right. Mythbusters was just proving humans couldn't be poisoned.

There is an urban legend stating that daddy long-legs spiders have extremely toxic venom, but their fangs cannot penetrate human skin. However there is no reliable research on the effects of pholcid venom in mammals, so any statement about their toxicity is just speculation. Additionally, pholcids do have a short fang structure (called uncate), but so do brown recluse spiders which can penetrate human skin and deliver potentially dangerous necrotoxin [1]. In 2004 the Discovery Channel show MythBusters set out to test this myth (season 1, ep. 13 Buried in Concrete). One of the show's hosts was bitten, and the bite produced little more than a mild short-lived burning sensation.

No, the myth about daddy long-leg spiders being the most poisonous spider in the world is FALSE. (see reference below).

As far as the points go, they are just a gimmic to get you to answer more questions. They do not really mean anything other than giving you bragging rights, if that sort of thing matters to you.

Yes they are the most posionous spider out there but not to humans...the mouths are too small to bite us, but to other insects they are the most poisonous.

And the points are if you want to be able to ask and answer more questions

The Daddy long leg is the most poisonous spider, but it's fangs are so small, that it can't get through human skin. Why does everyone care about these stupid points???

Actually, it's the most venomous spider in the world. But it's fangs are too small to bite humans or other large mammals. It uses it's venom to paralyze it prey, but keep it fresh. You can listen to these stupid people if you wa-a-ant...

It is not poisonous at all. On mythbusters, one of those guys let about a hundred crawl on their arm in a chamber. There were a few bites, but nobody died or was otherwise hurt.
