Once given the gift belongs to the person to whom it was given. They can do what they will with them...you can ask for them back but he may choose to keep the items.

The usual exception is an engagement ring. If the woman calls off the engagement, she usually gives the ring back, if the man calls it off, the woman usually keeps the ring....but this is not always the case.

No. A gift is a gift! Save giving great gifts to family and later to the one you marry. All the others will wear the jewelry or jackets/clothes for their new girl!

no... too bad! if he was truely your friend he should have given you equally expensive gifts! its only fair.... if he didnt you should have stopped giving him expensive gifts if you didnt get any in return
