Even if trees are beneficial, you can't equate number planted with lives saved. It is like asking how many lives are lost because gasoline prices went up. No connection you say? Well the cost of gas makes some agencies cut back on ambulance service, so some heart attack victim who could have been saved if he had gotten to the hospital 10 minutes sooner dies. So high gasoline cost killed him. But you cannot just say that 1 person dies for every cent increase. It is just not that simple. Same with trees.

There is no way to tell. Where are you going to plant it? If it's a tropical rain forest, the bigger tree would cover smaller shrubs/bushes and prevent them from receiving sunlight. If you think about it the other way, like vegetation or oxygen, a LOT.

None....there is already enough air in the world to support the population. But if you plant it in North Korea...I bet people would eat it...cause they're starving. Stick to trying to solve problems that mean something.
