War is caused not by the people but by banks who loan money to the governments. Governments get to needing money to wage war because of weapons manufacturers. Weapons manufacturers and bankers conspire to convince governments that to keep themselves in office, the government officials need something to distract the people from real problems such as poverty, illiteracy, disease, and hunger. That distraction is to make it seem like there is a threat (in some human sort) from usually outside.
So, the government whips up a war. The people get sold on the idea, send their children off to war and the children die. The government officials get rich by skimming money off the cost of the war (sending off substandard weapons, food and medical supplies to the troops) and eventually run off to another country.
I will give you two quotes to reinforce my point. Both are by people who should truly know about war:

The war will may be there untill the end of time. However, the war could be Stopped if all have to respect for each other's opinion, religion, culture and uniqueness. We have to agree to disagree and still have respect for each other. If the men, the power, do not greedy.

they're going to provide up even as human beings are out of the equation. human beings like to have skill skill hates a vacuum each and each and every time a warfare ends it creates a vacuum some human with skill will rush in to fill the void. therefore yet another conflict. persistently in the time of historic previous.
