I discovered masturbation on my own when I was little. I'm an atheist but I don't know how it can be considered a sin if you discover it on your own. As for porn, I think the general consensus is it is a sin because it causes lust. Perhaps if on can look upon somebody naked and not get lustful, it would be okay.

To masturbate you'll need to be sexually aroused usually by your own lustful thoughts. Lust is sin.
When you watch porn, you are aroused by female/male bodies other than your own spouse. That is committing the sin of lust and the sin of adultery.
Let the love of Jesus enter your life, for He can remove all these temptations from you.
GOD gave us the gift of sex to enjoy with our legitimate spouses only. Other kinds of abuse be it through porn, masturbation or prostitutes not only bring unsatisfactory results (you will never experience the beauty of sex through these other ways!) but misery because sex was not designed by GOD for those purposes.
Everything has been designed and created for a purpose. Use it for the wrong purpose and bang! you get the wrong result.
You want to experience real solid sex? Do it the way GOD designed it. With one partner, your spouse!

Porn is a sin. Jesus says that to look on a woman with lust is a sin. (and by implication to look on a guy with lust)... pretty unlikely that a person can look at porn without lust being involved...
Masturbation is not addressed in the Bible -- however Jesus does say that to look on a woman with lust is a sin (and it is pretty unlikely that a guy can masturbate without lusting after a woman or man). I dont mean to be gross -- no offense meant.

Yes because that is something to be shared between a man and a woman to create children. Sex for pleasure is against god. what a load of crazy people. Masturbation is between a man's hand and a man's penis in your case so it may be seen as homosexual

Masturbation isn't a sin, as if God would send you to Hell because you are enjoying yourself. think about it this way.... is anyone getting hurt by you doing this? You aren't hurting anyone, and it is harmless. Enjoy it, trust me, it is OK.

I would suggest you read a book called Not even a hint by Joshua Harris it sould lay it out better the whole book is about lust in your heart hope this helps

So yes its a sin just to even enteretain the thought .

As prostitution is illegal,I would say that it would be the equivalent of casting your seed in the belly of a whore.
