Because this time he'll have to sit up and take notice ...there are too many Americans who are fed up to the hilt ... we have minutemen on the borders ... representatives are nearly to a man extricating themselves from Bush ... so far plenty of lip service ... now we want action ....

I don't think he will close the borders. I don't think he is even considering that as an option. He, nor any other representative or politician has the guts to do it. The National Guard on the border I am afraid will be more for show than anything. Nothing will be done as far as closing our borders til more citizens organize and start taking matters into their own hands i.e. the minute men.

I dont think Bush wants to close the borders. I dont think any of the politicians really do, or at least they wont publicly admit to it. And I think the reason for it is they dont want to be labeled a Bigot. It seems that politics are so dirty nowadays that people will stoop on any level to embarass the other side, and often in doing so it is the nation that suffers most.

The borders should have been controlled beginning at least 50 years ago. For all these years illegal mexicans have sneaking in, and nothing has been done really to stop them. That is pure negligence on the part of our elected leaders, both Dems and Repubs. The people have been complaining for as long as I can remember to our closed minded leaders, to no avail.

I dont personally blame Bush, I blame them all.

i dont know what bush will do but its not about closing the borders its about making sure we are in a good standing with our neibors now if you build a castle and you point all the weapons at your neibors that just dont sound right and im sure they would be offended by that kinda crap instead if you want to build a kingdom rather than just a castle you show your neibors that your both on the same side and mexico and canada and america and all are actuly one land so the power lays in the hands of the people its the whole thing of unity among the people think about it every country is mixt now with alil bit of every nationalty so the question is who gets to be the king and queen of earth?id say again its jesus the people not only one man or woman but humanity close off a people who are not ur enemy and they might become offended or as the enemy so spare the rod from stiking the wrong people,in other words dont byte the helping hands of earths kingdom

I don't believe he would. Bush has a more lofty goal and clearly, it doesn't include the best interest of legal citizens of our country. He would be offended that our neighbors from the south were implicated. He has used diversion to smooth things over....and to try to keep the heat off the illegal issue.

We have better security at the airport than anywhere along the borders.

Perhaps we should put TSA in charge of our borders!

Because America had shown the world after 911 that we are not a racism country. But if such a horrific event happens again, our kindness will come to an end. And unfortunately, coming to this great country of America will be no longer. It seems most other countries hate us anyway, for whatever reasons they may choose, especially Canada, our ally neighbor..... So how do we know who really wants to come to this country with good intention? Let them eat cake!!!!!

He wont because he and all others [democrats included] have planned to make America into the North American zone ,doing away with our sovereignty and freedoms.Technically its the only way we can exist because once the European Union gets going they will be able to buy and sell us several times over. but besides that its betraying everything America stands for
