I like the statement, "follow the Bible"... where does it go? Does it meet interesting people... is it like the Stanley Cup? I also wonder who will persecute Christians if they convert everyone? Maybe they will devise a system so that everyone persecutes someone else every other Saturday, or something like that. Irony Rocks.

Christians want as many people as possible to be saved. Christianity isn't really an easy religion, there are all these rules that make people feel guilty and that is uncomfortable for most people. Why would someone want to embrace a religion that limits their freedoms? So, in that sense, Christianity is a narrow path and not many people will choose that path. There is no contradiction in this idea. I personally have chosen the "narrow way" and will try to get others to follow this path even though I know it is probably futile.

This Bible verse can be found in the New testament, and it is commonly used to find a Oxymoron in the thinking of Christians. here is the problem, The Bible verse says there are few that Will find the Narrow path, But just because that's so isn't a license to stop witnessing. what the verse is saying is that though we may witness and preach the faith, there are some who will never come to true Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Think about it, even some who saw Jesus ministry first hand rejected him. But, He is steadfast in Longsuffereing, Hoping that we will turn from our sins. However, The Bible also makes clear that everyone will have a chance to hear the Gospel and turn form there sins. If they reject Life and decide to never repent they will remain in there sins and face God on judgment day. How about you? have you repented and put your faith and trust in Jesus?
The Bible says if you have Broken any of the Ten Commandments by lying, stealing, looking with lust, using Gods name in vain etc, you will end up facing Gods Justice, the Bible says if he gives you justice according to your sin and your guilty of breaking the Commandments, you could end up in Hell. The good news is that Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross to take the punishment you deserve. Repent (turn from sins) and trust Jesus as your Lord and savior and God will grant you everlasting life.

a chum once informed me that, "guy's chief gripe with the Christian God is, at its center, that He facilitates each and every individual to make their personal alternatives even as frequently no longer curbing the consequences of those alternatives. In different words, He shall we issues ensue obviously too a lot. The Christian stance on free will is that it is actual self sufficient. God beckons us to persist with Him, yet each and each and every step is a few thing we ought to approve. And, i do not propose that individuals may favor determinism, yet quite, that individuals may favor God took a better energetic position in cleansing up mankind's messes. curbing the organic consequences of the risky free will alternatives all of us make. If God enacted determinism on mankind, we may all be Christians, and we may all bypass to Heaven, considering Matt 18:10-14 says that God needs no one to die spiritually. The Bible tells us that the Genesis introduction became "good." there became no sin and hence no suffering or demise. " So Why then did God provide Adam and Eve the flexibility to sin, understanding finished properly that they could sin and convey demise and soreness to the human race? some believe that if Adam were created with out the flexibility to chosen, then he may were a "robotic." A father can not make his toddlers love him. They pick to love him because they have a free will. Others talk about that humanity may under no circumstances have considered the intensity of the love of God, as displayed contained in the flow, except Adam had sinned, and that reality should be one reason God allowed sin to enter the international.

I tell you what I find ironic, is there are so many
A-theist who scour the religious category of this forum, looking for an argument.
If you don't believe there's a God why are you even looking in that category? Why are you insisting on an argument by claiming "they try to convert the whole world to christianity".
There's so many other things you could be discovering, who are you trying to convince?

The path to rightousness is the narrow own that can only be taken after accepting Jesus as your savior.

The path to destruction is wide because it sends people out of control in all different dirrections. NO irony there.

Do you not get, that the reason they try to tell you, is really because they care?? They think (know/are convinced) you are gonna suffer a horrible fate for all eternity and it hurts their hearts..

You need to lighten up on Christians. Contrary to popular belief being Christian does NOT, I repeat NOT, make us perfect. We are far from Perfect. We are animal human and do animal human things. Wrong and right.. Just like every other animal human.. Only Jesus was perfect.. There are no, and never will be any perfect humans..

We are taught to love everyone, We really do try, It is really hard to love some folks....... {:-).... Why is it so hard for you to just accept the love and wish them equally well, but no thanks?

It is not wrong to be polite to your fellowman or woman.. You should at least extend them the common courtesy you extend to any other living being. It is OK to disagree...

God bless & Hugs from Texas. {:-)

Christians don't try to convert the world. Only God has that power. We just find our purpose and serve Him. Some just hate christianity because they don't want to give up the pleasures of the world. I heard once " If you would never surrender what you love most in the world to God, You show who your real God is"

Forget religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
