The key to good smoothies is thinking in threes (like so much in cooking). You have the main fruit that you want as the main flavor - here they are 1. Mango 2. Raspberry 3. Coconut 4. Peach Then you have the "punch" flavor - often citrus 1. Lime 2. Lime 3. Lime 4. Strawberry and then you have the background flavor and liquid. I use yogurt or soy milk. If the fruit has a strong flavor, like coconut or raspberry, I use yogurt. If the fruit is mellow, like mango or peaches, I use soy milk - You can use cow's milk, rice milk, goat's milk, whatever you like.

Sometimes I throw in a fourth flavor to round things out, but it is usually a mellow flavor that compliments the main flavor like banana. Think 1 main flavor, 1 or 2 mellow flavors (milk or yogurt plus optional banana or apple) and one punch flavor (citrus)

FROZEN FRUIT
I always use frozen fruit. It's inexpensive, it tastes good, the texture doesn't matter for smoothies and it's already frozen, so you smoothie will be nice and cold. Most grocery stores have a bunch of different frozen fruits.

2 half bananas, sugar and a cup of strawberries with ice.

I make smoothies at my job, and let me tell you, it's not hard to make them. Just buy some fruits and put them together with ice in a blender.

Two cups of strawberries and some yogurt...2 scoops of blueberries, I cup of strawberries, one half-banana...you get the gist.
