I have already examined the idea that maybe God wanted children to love and to love Him in return and the idea that would it be right to kill a small child named Adolf Hitler knowing his future. Most of the answers seem to rest in some unsatisfied need in God that caused Him to create. I believe that God had nothing to add to the nature of the relationship He had as a triune God, that He was perfect and complete as it was eternally. Any answer must not intimate some lack on His part, for those who would tackle this question. I am a believer and a follower of the Lord so those who have answer as a mission to save me, thats ok, I'm already there.

Free will.

True love is not possible without true freedom of choice (free will).

God created creatures with free-will (who can freely choose to love him, or reject him; and freely choose to love one another or reject one another).

We use our free-will to sin.

This leads to Evil.

True love is a greater good (in eternity) than the temporal limited presence of Evil (the Christian God promises that Evil is temporary and will not exist for ever; however true love and true good will last for ever).

So temporary evil (on earth) is the price that God pays in order to create creatures who will enjoy true love (with God and with one another) and true good for eternity.

Cost = limited, temporal, finite, evil.
Benefit = unlimited, eternal, infinite, good.

Cordially,
John

Some of us have seem to forgotten the duality of all things in existence, in nature, in the universe, in man, and everything around us. Evil must exist because good exists. Good cannot be known or understood unless evil exists. If there were no evil, you would not know good, since there would be nothing to weigh against it. If there were no good, you still would not know evil or understand it since there would not be any good for you to understand what is evil. One exists for the other. It is the order of nature. If there is an up, there must be a down. If there is a right, there must be a wrong. If there is a white, there must be a black. If there is a hot, there must be a cold. If there is a wet, there must be a dry. And if there is a good, then there must be an evil, or you would not know what good is.

i believe that could want to god exist, then each and each and every of the memories made up for his intentions are in holding with mans concern. Nowhere interior the bible do I see a number of the recommendations thrown at us or the memories I realized as a baby.i imagine good and evil are a count of idea. If i don't like a element then I call it evil and get others to agree. If I placed a popularity to a element, then it turns into genuine inspite of the actuality that that's fullyyt something I made up.in my opinion, a god would leave our mind's eye as a lot as us and get amusing at our antics, if he, she, or it has a mouth, and there is not any clarification why a god must have any actual type.

First off, God is not a Triune God, that is a myth, a concept made by man and added to the church in the 3rd century B.C.E. It is NOT bibical in nature. It is Pagan in origin.

Second, who can know the mind of God. Perhaps this is a "sorting" period to see who He can truly trust and who He can share His incoming Kingdom with. Perhaps those who survive will be given new orders after the world is cleansed of evil and told of new and exciting things they are supposed to do. The fact is, ITS NOT IMPORTANT. We have so many things to worry, just keeping ourselves going today and in this moment. Also, I can't believe you would think God wanted only the love of Children. The love of children while nice, is nothing to Him compared to the love of a older man or woman who has lived a long and rewarding life in Christ, proving themselves worthy in his name. These are the ones truly special to God. For God says "better is the day of your death than your birth" meaning that you've had your chance to make your name for yourself to him and He's now reviewing your record. What does it say? Also, the Bible says to "keep working out your own salvation" so don't feel like your always saved. Your not, according to God, you can lose it.

This is my belief of God and our existence:

God created the life as we know it so that God can experience God's self.

God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.

This is a world of relativity. You cannot know what cold is if you never experience warmth. Subsequently, you cannot know good, if you never experience bad or evil. They are all relative or subjective concepts. Tools of measurement, if you will.

God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what ice cream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.

God created the earth and life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in this world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.

God does not judge us for our actions...after this physical incarnation ends we will return to the spiritual dimension and decide if we want to stay or experience another physical incarnation. This is how we serve God.

Man created god to answer the questions about the mysterious world around him, enough people believed in the cult and it became a normal practice called religion, this man also created the concept of good and evil

You are right; God was lacking in nothing which compelled him to create.

But, what does the Bible say God is? God is love. And, what does love do? It wants to spread; it wants to grow; it wants to love more.

This is first-grade Catholic catechism. Why did God make me? To know, love and serve him in this life, so that I may spend eternity with him in the next.

Also, knowing that eventually some souls would be lost - in God's estimation - must have been worth it. Not even God can force you to love him. Love has to be freely given. When he gave us free-will to love him, there was the possibility that some of us would say 'no'.

The University professor challenged his students with this question"Did God create everything that exists?"A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!"God created everything?" The professor asked,Yes sir", the student replied:The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then God is evil."The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a
question professor?"Of course", replied the professor:The student stood up and asked, "Professor does cold exist?"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question:The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460? F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a
term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least is does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."The professor sat down. The young man's name -- Albert Einstein (gotta love 'em)

evil is a reverse or twisting of something good. It is possible for something good like a vase to be used as a ash tray right? the same way good things have been inverted or twisted. Yes God wanted kids so he made us, He didnt want an inferior species, but beings to rule with Him, so yes in time we would have known that there is a possibility of evil, but i think adam learnt of it too quickly. It would be similar for a kid receiving knowledge of something really perverse/horrific, his mind cannot really deal with it. But as an adult we may be AWARE of those things, but dont have to participate in them. I wish Adam had waited before he ate of the tree.

He knew everything that would happen before He created it. He looked beyond the bad and saw the good. Though He knew He would have to come in body and die for us on the cross, what He saw was worth it, and created the universe anyways.
