my granddaughter did not get her first tooth till she was 13 months old. we were worried also when we took her to the Dr he said her teeth would be healthier the later they came through. don't worry until she is over 18 month's old is what the Dr told us

Well, all kids are different and you can't go by what age one child gets teeth.

If he doesn't cut teeth soon, I would talk to a doctor or dentist. I think they can x-ray and see if there are teeth under the gums that will come through.

she should have some by the age of 1

I've always heard that the longer it takes for the teeth to come in, the stronger they'll be when she's older. My daughter didn't get her first tooth until after she was a year old.

All children develop differently and it is not unusual to not have teeth until they are one or over, just depends on there rate of development.

Dont worry, all children are different. My daughter was 10 months old before she had her first tooth !
