Could be your more ready for real commitment than he is. And it scared him. Many guys find it really scary to be committed to someone. Or. it could be he values your friendship, but does not know how to tell you thats all he wants.

My first thought is that while you think things are going good, they really are not going so well on the guys side.
Perhaps an explanation is in order. You can try to ask what went wrong, but if they didn't want to tell you the first time, they most likely will not after they have left.
I would take a good hard look at the relationship.
Were you making demands on them and their time?
Did they have issues in communicating with you?
Were they just in the relationship for the booty, and having got that, did they bail?

guys are azzholes.that always means that they are seeing someone else, and they are too gutless to tell you, so the only way we know how to deal with our two-timing is to just drop you and not care about your feelings. the other woman probably gave him a choice you or her,and it sounds like you were not the one ,but you deserve better.never think things are going ok, if a guy wants to be with you he will want your face to be the one he falls asleep with and wants to wake up every morning if a guy doesn't want that you don't want him.hope this helps.

Sometimes things get to deep for them or they are starting to fall in love or don't know what it is they are feeling.So rather then talk like we would do they back off.He will come around when he knows what it is he is feeling.Most of all, don't push.If he doesn't call.Don't call him.Let him know you are not going to smother him.That is one of the worst things you can do.This includes IM,E-Mail and texing.
