am i the only adult that entertains themselves on long car trips by waving their arm in the wind usually to the beat of the radio? you can get some pretty funky movements with the air currents, also some strange looks lol.

Well, I do the same thing. There are two risks:
1) That you stick out too much at the wrong time and a car going the other way rips your arm off,
2) The Highway patrol gives you a ticket for having your arm outside the vehicle.

I used to do that, then my arm got torn off by a passing 18 wheeler, now I just wave my stub out the window
