man have you hit the nail on the head!
people like Mainworry are always bashing those they don't agree with and it's because their faith is weak and they need to fortify their beliefs by attacking anyone who asks a question or gives an answer they don't like.
they will never go away and will never stop.
in short THEY SUCK!!!!

Here's a Christian that won't insult you.
Loving thy neighbor doesn't mean you should go have gay sex. It's not even about sex. It's about treating your neighbor with the same respect that you'd want to recieve. It's about turning the other cheek and do unto others. And yes, the Christian thing to do would be something other than to insult you. And no, Christianity isn't about bigotry and hypocrasy. Those things are not of God and not something Jesus would do.

I'm sorry for your being so upset, but you cannot generalize in this instance. Not all Christians are rude to people of other faiths. Maybe you asked an insulting question. You should have included the question you asked in you question, for us to give you a better answer. By the way, I'm not Christian.

Dont base Christianity off of one person who has weeknesses or who may not be a wholehearted believer. If you were to get around strong Christians, they would be the pillar in which you are after, the truth in which you seek. They would be true God fearing servants of Jesus Christ, who apply the scriptures and live their lives holy. People often have one or two discouraging experiences with Christians, but remember the devil will use people even claiming to praise God and be Christians to stray you away from the truth. You must not let people take away your salvation but call on God and his word and he will set you free.

Nope. What kind of questions are you asking and what kind of answers are you getting that are insulting to you? I am sorry that has happened to you and as a Christian I am sorry that you have not had good experiences in dealing with other Christians and hope that someday some Christian will be able to change your mind. God bless.

No. There are some Christians out there that give us a bad name. Like that guy who said soldiers were being killed in Iraq because of gay marriage and abortion that has been happening in the country. I would have been courteous and answered your question as best I could without insulting you, yet I'm a christian. We're not all bad.

Your sarcasm is less than humorous. All Christians are NOT like that, and if they are, they are not being very Christian-like. Being a Christian is not at all about insulting and pointing fingers at people who aren't Christians. It's about loving others, and seeking God.

A neighbor is one who shows loving kindness.
Not all are neighbors.
Luk 10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
Luk 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
Luk 10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
Luk 10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
Luk 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
Luk 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Luk 10:35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Luk 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
Luk 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

i am a christian and sadly, i am able to see where you are coming from. just like any other stereotype, there are a few rotten people who spoil the way other people see the entire group. so, if you have a simple question, feel free to ask. i'll do my best to answer.
sorry you had a bad experience.

A pathetic question. You need to study, and learn of Jesus. Your relationship with God is personal. And, yes, you will discover a lot of hypocrisy and bigotry, and a whole lot of other things you may not like.
Try not to let your anger and dissapointment, or anything else, seperate you from your God.
