If you stick to something good, like Bumble & Bumble, you should be fine. And that stuff is great because it doesn't get your hair greasy. I have pretty dry hair and I reduced my washings to only a couple/few times a week, but I condition daily. There's no gross build up and I don't dry my hair out so insanely by washing it all the time.
