Here are a few:

My favorite is Theakston's Old Peculiar (a porter) -- Very tastey (but pricey)!!!

A good micro brew is "Flying Dog" - I particularly like their "Old Scratch" - an award-winning Amber Lager and "Road Dog" - a great Porter!!!

and just for what everyone else thinks, here's the Top 100 Beers:

and can't forget classics like Budvar, Czechvar, and of course, GUINNESS!!

Cheers!!!

If I could only have one beer for the rest of my life, it would probably be Chimay Reserve, blue label Trappist ale from Belgium. Arguably the best beer in the World, but you get what you pay for.

Close second might be Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter from England.

i know you said you like lagers but try these:

1. Alexander Keiths india pale ale. (bottled in Nova Scotia) available in Canada.
- People who hate beer like it and people who like beer lover it.

2. Sam Smith's honey nut brown ale. (available in US hard to find though.

3. If you go to don't drink British beer. It will give you a nasty hangover. The british believe that if you wake up hangover that you must of had a great night before. Trust me its bad.

Corsendonk Brown Ale, from Belgium. But if you like lagers, try Spaten (Germany) or Stella Artois (Belgium)
